Mexico - Island of the Dolls

Visit the Island of the Dolls, or "La Isla de las Muñecas," located in the Xochimilco canals of Mexico City and renowned for its eerie collection of weathered, doll parts hanging from trees. Legend has it that the island's caretaker, Don Julian Santana, began hanging the dolls to appease the spirit of a young girl who drowned there, creating a haunting yet intriguing tourist attraction.
